Beauty is the moment when time disappears,

Where beauty appears in eternity.

Aesthetics first means “entering the scene”. Aesthetics means entering into a field, and together with all other artistic elements, it constitutes an overall artistic situation.

What is beauty? Each era has its own aesthetics, and even everyone has their own unique views and tastes of beauty. And precisely because there are too many answers, we cannot know what beauty is. And beauty has become a word with too many complicated meanings. It traverses everything and surpasses everything. It is unspeakable, and it really shakes us.

From the perspective of the subject’s perception, beauty comes from “sense”, not from reasoning. The latter belongs to the category of philosophy. Beauty exists by witnessing and hearing, not by reasoning or argumentation. Even those noble things are born out of “sense”; for some things that have no perceptual objects, we can also have a sense of nobleness, such as a noble spirit, but that is also an emotion born of “sense”, and Non-abstract judgments are produced because of this spiritual “touching”.

From the perspective of the subject’s perception, beauty is produced in intuitive activities and has the characteristics of directness; while philosophical principles are not, it is non-intuitive. It is the product of rational activity, and it can only be grasped through rational activity. The beauty produced in intuition is not controllable by reason: we can neither predict nor control whether we can produce beauty and what kind of beauty when we visualize an object. In other words, beauty cannot be produced in a planned way. This is the so-called irrational feature of aesthetics.

Of course, beauty contains things of daily life, but it is not this “daily” nature that determines beauty to become art, but its “extraordinary” nature. Beauty can mean being alive, every second, every breath is a work, that leaves no trace. The true eternal beauty is not limited to poems or paintings, not limited to the present, nor limited to the future. It is everywhere and available at any time.
