FIU Gallery is located on Yuyuan Road in Shanghai, a century-old road full of legends. 对于画廊的外立面，设计师拆除了原本繁琐的12扇玻璃幕墙，以最大化玻璃展示的方式配合整个空间的原始结构，营造了一个干净且直接的外立面。简单直接的门窗展示使客人能清晰直观的看到画廊里的内容，在复杂及热闹的街道中以宁静清透的个性实现了现代画廊与历史建筑的对话。

 

For the gallery’s façade, designer demolished the original cumbersome 12 glass curtain walls to maximize the glass display to match the original structure of the entire space, creating a clean and direct façade. The simple and direct display of doors and windows allows guests to see the contents of the gallery clearly and intuitively. The dialogue between modern galleries and historic buildings is realized in the complex and lively streets with a quiet and clear personality.

 

 

 

 

 

 

设计师对这个多功能艺术空间进行了以变换空间为主的设计，使其可以从恬静高级的画廊轻松切换到趣味性互动空间及行为艺术的表演场所。整体空间使用自然白色的调性还原画廊本身干净的属性，沿窗区域的地板使用了调整过的淡黄灰色系的木地板，营造温暖及安静的氛围。

 

The designer designed this multi-functional art space with a focus on transforming space, so that it can easily switch from a quiet and high-end gallery to a fun interactive space and performance art venue. The overall space uses a natural white tone to restore the clean nature of the gallery itself. The floor along the window area uses an adjusted light yellow-gray wood floor to create a warm and quiet atmosphere.

设计师在沿窗边上设计了可拆卸及上下移动的展板，可满足遮挡自然光让画作在专业灯光下更完美呈现的需求，也可满足画作展示较多时，沿廊两边都可作为展示墙使用。而通过简单的移动或改变各种“展板”可将空间划分成六个部分，分别为：展览，办公，接待，仓储，零售，珍品展式。客户可按照自身的需求通过移动展板的位置跟方向改变各个区域的功能，布局以及画廊客人的游览路线。

 

The designer designed a detachable and movable up and down display board along with the window, which can meet the needs of blocking natural light and making the paintings more perfect under professional lighting. It can also meet the needs of paintings when there are more exhibitions. Both sides of the corridor can be used as display walls. By simply moving or changing various “display boards”, space can be divided into six parts: exhibition, office, reception, storage, retail, and exhibition of treasures. Customers can change the function and layout of each area and the tour route of gallery guests by moving the position and direction of the exhibition board according to their own needs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

而内部区域，使用了轨道吊顶及天光结合的设计语言，让空间呈现通透干净的质感，让游览者能更多的关注两侧的展示画作。而两侧展板可按需求自由的旋转移动，制造出不同的空间布局跟展览方式。方便后期各式各样的展览及行为艺术，表演等。通过移动轨道展板可满足不同角度形式的展览：而最靠内的8平方米的小空间则使用了简洁的亮顶制造出了天光的温润感，使空间看起来更加的宽阔及纯粹。

 

In the internal area, the design language combined with the track ceiling and skylight is used to make the space present a transparent and clean texture, allowing visitors to pay more attention to the paintings on both sides. The exhibition panels on both sides can be freely rotated and moved as required, creating different spatial layouts and exhibition methods. It is convenient for all kinds of exhibitions and performance art, performances, etc. in the later period. The movable rail display panel can meet different angles of exhibitions: the innermost small space of 8 square meters uses a simple bright roof to create the warmth of the sky, making the space look wider and purer.
